Boris Gefter, owner and president of A American Electrical Services, Inc came to Tucson from small country in eastern Europe called Latvia in the 1980's. He has been doing electrical work for over 35 years beginning in 1976. In Riga, capital of Latvia he graduated from the Polytechnical University with a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. 

Here in the Tucson area, Boris graduated a five year apprenticeship program with National Electrical Contractors Association. He graduated as "Apprentice of the Year", with the highest score for his group on the final exams. Boris has competed in regional competition for the Southwestern United States in Albuquerque New Mexico resulting in a third place victory.
